"I made this work after Cpl Nathan Cirillo was struck down at the Nation War Memorial. One of the people who ran to aid realized he was dying in her arms and she told him, 'You are loved'.  That is to me the 'reward' of all that sacrifice -  because you/we are loved that we continue to remember." - mary ann varley
