olga radushkevich

Olga Radushkevich grew up in Siberia near Lake Baikal, a land where she was deeply moved by the beauty of nature which now inspires her art.

Olga studied art in a private art studio in St. Petersburg, Russia, under the mentorship of acclaimed Russian painter and sculptor Lucian Dolinsky from 1992 to 1997. She then lived in Central Russia, practicing medicine as a neurologist. In 2011 she immigrated to Canada. As it happened, the move also allowed her to devote more time to her art.

Olga currently works full time as an artist in an animation studio. In her free time she paints en plein air at every opportunity, taking her painting kit by bicycle to natural areas near her home on the west side of Ottawa. She has worked in many media, including batik, mixed media and watercolour, but she now finds her passion in painting landscapes using oils.

"I am painting Canadian landscapes now as I feel it is the best way for me to reflect the beauty of our world and our connection to nature." - olga radushkevich

Her work is in private collections in Canada, Russia, Germany, Belgium and USA. Artworks below, including recent exquisite oils landscapes of the Ottawa region, are currently featured at the gallery. Two portfolios of unframed watercolours (9x12" and 11x14") are also available to view at the gallery. See also more artworks by Olga Radushkevich currently at the artist's studio, for sale on this site.
