We invite you to join us in celebrating summer!

By the waterside – shores, beaches, lakes, rivers, boats and easy chairs. Our artists have created art for you that celebrates the relaxing pleasures of the beautiful (and sometimes mysterious) places where land and water meet. By the waterside we find the meeting of two worlds, perhaps evoking feelings of transition or of exploration.

Our "by the waterside" theme show showcased more than 25 artists, with a wide variety of interpretations and media.

The painting shown here, "Misty Morning" by Elisabeth Arbuckle, was our first sale as a new gallery, back in March 2020. The beauty of the art, as well as the sale, gave us some much-needed uplift and serenity at that time. Painted at Elisabeth's summer cottage studio, it inspired this summer show.
